Aventail MobileVPN and Aventail PartnerVPN are client/server software solutions that allow organizations to privately communicate and exchange data over the Internet. By implementing Aventail's Virtual Private Network (VPN) systems, companies can create a secure channel for use by mobile or remote employees, customers, suppliers, or business partners.
Aventail's VPN solutions work with any dial-up or direct network connection to the Internet. Privacy is ensured because the communication channel between the client and server is strongly authenticated and completely encrypted. Aventail MobileVPN and PartnerVPN support all of the popular authentication and encryption methods such as SSL, Kerberos, SecureID, DES, Triple DES, CHAP, RC4, MD4, MD5 and RADIUS. Aventail's solutions also include granular access controls that allow IS managers to specify access based on destination, source, IP address, application/services, and user ID. In addition to these comprehensive security features, Aventail MobileVPN and PartnerVPN include management tools such as protocol/content filtering, reporting, and logging.
